Camp World Explorers: Big Adventures, Tiny Travelers!
Give your child a passport to adventure without leaving town!
Get set for a whirlwind of fun and exploration at Camp World Explorers!
Each week, your child will take an exciting journey to a new country, diving into cool cultures with hands-on activities like building pyramids, samba dancing, and making art from Japan to Brazil. From science experiments to jungle explorations, creative crafts, and outdoor adventures, every day is a new adventure. Plus, they’ll hear wild stories from around the world and create unforgettable memories – while sparking their imagination and curiosity!
Through art, science, math, food, and outdoor play, campers will expand their horizons and spark their curiosity, all while having a blast!
Let your little explorer discover, create, and play across the globe – one exciting week at a time! We plan to virtually visit Japan, Mexico, Italy, Brazil, India, Australia, Egypt, China, Greece, and even the Arctic.
Our awesome teachers have cooked up a 10-week adventure, where we explore 10 amazing countries, cultures, and traditions. Each week is packed with fun, hands-on activities that combine STEM, early math, arts, environmental awareness, and storytelling. From the creative wonders of Japan to the icy thrills of the Arctic, every week offers something new and exciting! This curriculum ensures that the activities are developmentally appropriate for preschoolers and kindergarteners while offering fun, educational, and creative experiences.
- Hands-on Learning: Each week features sensory play, such as water play, tactile arts, and nature explorations. With country inspired experiences, children will create art and science projects that they can take home at the end of the week.
- Critical Thinking: Activities will encourage preschoolers to ask questions, explore their environment, and engage in simple problem-solving.
- DREME Early Math: We have adopted and adapted the cutting edge DREME research based curriculum to help children discover the joys of math. https://familymath.stanford.edu/
- Outdoor Play: Emphasize free play with opportunities to run, climb, and explore outside.
- Small Group Interactions: Activities will be adapted for group settings with individualized attention, ensuring each child will have the opportunity to engage at their own pace.
- Fun country exchanges: We will exchange messages and videos with similar age children in other countries, learning about each other.
